The role evaluates risks from systems, projects, products, process changes, and outsourcing arrangements while challenging controls, corrective actions, thresholds, and escalation processes.

Lead the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and profitability of a UPI cross-border remittance product. Responsibilities include developing business requirements, operating processes, risk controls, product documentation, governance, fraud operations, testing, launches, stakeholder communications, and continuous process improvement. The role partners with technology, compliance, risk, operations, legal, finance, business teams, vendors, audit, and project management to increase revenue, reduce losses, improve customer experience, and optimize product margins.

Lead client implementation and readiness activities involving payment API design, especially UPI; assess infrastructure and security architectures; interpret API specifications; document technical solutions; coordinate development and testing lifecycles; manage client interactions, project tracking, and internal and external stakeholder communications.

Manage end-to-end back-office projects and daily UPI and RuPay operations, including clearing, settlement, transaction monitoring, incident resolution, UAT, system enhancements, compliance, audits, reporting, stakeholder management, and process optimization. The role coordinates banks, PSPs, TPAPs, vendors, technology, product, risk, compliance, and NPCI teams while improving operational performance, scalability, customer experience, and partner outcomes.

Leads technical implementation and readiness for global clients and partners supporting UPI and RuPay acceptance, remittance, licensing, and digital product rollouts. Designs payment API architectures, evaluates infrastructure and security models, reviews code and development lifecycles, prepares technical specifications and RFP responses, and manages client-facing solution discussions. The role requires hands-on technical project management, strong documentation, and the ability to explain complex solution designs.

Develop and test backend features for the BHIM application, including business logic, scalable APIs, enterprise integrations, database connectivity, and performance optimization. Collaborate with frontend developers and agile teams, write unit, integration, and performance tests, and develop automation tools and continuous integration pipelines. The role also requires clean, documented code, strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and effective communication.
