Ensures regulatory adherence across banking operations by monitoring new and amended regulations, conducting independent assessments and gap analyses, coordinating remediation with Operations and Technology teams, updating procedures, supporting risk and control self-assessments, and promoting compliance through training and communications. The role covers Institutional, Consumer Banking, and Financial Markets operations and involves regulatory returns, audits, and engagement with local financial regulators.

Provide credit support and risk assessment for SME lending in Western region, review and approve proposals, monitor portfolio delinquency, ensure compliance with RBI and bank credit policies, and liaise with relationship teams and regulators.

Manage technology and operational risks for a Line of Business Technology (LOBT). Drive regulatory compliance, coordinate audits, manage issues and remediation, perform risk assessments (including outsourcing, DR/BCP, code/deployment governance), maintain RCSAs, and engage stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Compliance and regional risk teams to close findings and monitor incidents.

Lead AML/CFT/KYC/Sanctions advisory and transaction surveillance for the bank in India. Develop and implement policies, controls and technology; manage regulatory interactions (RBI, FIU), drive enterprise-wide risk assessments, reduce false positives, and build a high-performing team as alternate Principal Officer reporting to Head Financial Crime Compliance.

Provide credit support and approvals for SME lending, evaluate lending proposals using financial statement and bank-statement/GST analysis, ensure compliance with RBI/MAS and internal credit policy, monitor portfolios and delinquency, and maintain turnaround time and credit controls to manage portfolio NPLs.

Manage a virtual banking portfolio of SME clients by providing personalized financial advisory, analyzing portfolios, recommending investment strategies, collaborating for onboarding and service delivery, monitoring performance, resolving client inquiries, and contributing to virtual banking initiatives.

Lead design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 5–10 developers. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable solutions, perform hands-on Python and SQL development, review code, enforce best practices, and manage project timelines and deliverables.

Support SME sales performance through MIS, financial analytics, KPI monitoring, budgeting, variance analysis, and portfolio reporting. Prepare executive Sales Business Review presentations, resolve income reporting queries with Finance and Product teams, drive productivity initiatives, and automate MIS/reporting processes to improve sales effectiveness and reporting timeliness.

Monitor and analyze AML alerts from the transaction surveillance system, disposition alerts, prepare STR/CTR/NTR filings and GoS, produce MIS and trend analysis, support AML/KYC/sanctions advisory, update watchlists, and assist with AML automation and ad-hoc reporting.
