Support private markets and alternatives middle/back-office operations: reconcile IBOR data, manage settlements and exceptions, analyze legal documentation, engage with clients and counterparties, drive process automation, and maintain controls to mitigate operational risk.

Supports private markets and alternative investment operations through loan and trade settlements, IBOR reconciliation, exception management, documentation analysis, and discrepancy resolution. Works with clients, agents, borrowers, counterparties, and internal teams across private credit, project finance, real assets, CLOs, and syndicated loans. Leads process automation and control enhancements while maintaining regulatory compliance, accurate portfolio records, and high service standards.

Responsibilities include defining schemas, ownership, SLAs, quality, and governance; troubleshooting pipelines; developing reusable ingestion connectors, templates, and accelerators; supporting platform engineering; enabling partner teams through workshops and documentation; and contributing AI-assisted onboarding workflows using schema inference, metadata mapping, agents, and automation.

Supports valuation governance for private equity, private debt, and alternative investments. Responsibilities include preparing valuation documentation, managing valuation cycles and third-party provider workflows, reviewing valuation templates and fair-value reporting, performing controls and reconciliations, interpreting legal documents, supporting valuation committees and audits, and improving platforms and processes. The role requires collaboration with investment, pricing, fund administration, audit, and valuation teams.

Support trade settlement and reconciliation for private markets and loan products. Analyze legal documentation, resolve cash/position discrepancies, maintain IBOR accuracy, drive process automation and control improvements, and manage client relationships and multiple projects in a fast-paced middle-office environment.

Design and build scalable Java software components for quantitative analysis, financial modeling, risk engines, and high-volume data pipelines. Integrate quantitative models into production systems, improve model performance, participate in architecture and design decisions, conduct code reviews, and develop reliable, resilient applications. Collaborate with quantitative analysts and developers while adopting AI-assisted engineering tools and software testing practices.

Manage fund cash operations, including wires, intercompany transfers, FX settlements, margin calls, swaps, liquidity analysis, bank accounts, and cash reconciliations. Resolve complex cash breaks, coordinate with administrators, trustees, and auditors, support process automation and technology testing, and lead special projects. The role requires strong Excel, reconciliation, analytical, organizational, leadership, and fund cash management skills.

Analyzes investment accounting data, prepares and reviews client accounting packages and reporting schedules, performs NAIC reconciliations and exception reviews, supports audits, responds to client inquiries, and ensures reporting complies with applicable accounting standards. The role also contributes to special projects, process improvements, data-quality controls, and technology enhancements while managing multiple deadlines and client relationships.

Leads BlackRock’s asset reconciliation operating model across positions, cash, securities, derivatives, and counterparties. Owns risk and control frameworks, exception governance, remediation, service delivery, automation, data quality, and operational resilience. Partners with internal teams and external providers, communicates risks to senior management, and develops a high-performing team through coaching, succession planning, and resource planning. Uses operational metrics to improve accuracy, efficiency, audit readiness, and client service.
