Own the functional safety lifecycle for fuel cell systems from concept through release. Lead hazard and risk analyses, define safety goals and requirements, verify safety mechanisms, perform SIL/PL/ASIL calculations, prepare certification documentation, and engage authorities and customers. The role also promotes functional safety practices and coaches engineering teams. This is a full-time, on-site position in Nyon, Switzerland.

Lead control engineering for fuel cell and containerized power systems. Define control architectures, algorithms, requirements, state machines, safety logic, and software roadmaps. Develop and validate controls using MATLAB/Simulink and Siemens PLCs, transition prototypes to TIA Portal, and manage the software lifecycle. Coordinate MIL testing, certification compliance, code reviews, team mentoring, and collaboration with embedded, electrical, test, suppliers, and external partners.
