Train on HERE’s proprietary mapping tools, market insights, navigation attributes, and database processes. Apply basic map attributes such as addresses, roadway speeds, intersections, restrictions, and postal coding. Ensure map data meets quality, regional standards, baseline speed, and project requirements. Complete assignments on time, collaborate with teammates, and follow organizational procedures for reporting, time tracking, and work completion. Own and continuously improve the company-wide software error and defect management framework. Govern Jira workflows, templates, fields, dashboards, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting while defining integrations and data mappings with systems such as ServiceNow. Lead defect lifecycle practices, process governance, escalation, and cross-functional alignment across multiple products and teams without direct authority.

Manages privacy operations, including DPIAs, PIAs, AI assessments, third-party reviews, data subject requests, breach response, regulatory implementation, privacy governance, and risk monitoring. Partners with product, engineering, security, procurement, HR, and legal teams to operationalize global privacy and AI requirements. Maintains governance documentation, supports audits and training, monitors regulatory developments, and improves Privacy Office efficiency through automation.

Build reusable geospatial AI components including embeddings, similarity search, retrieval, feature engineering, and agentic pipeline modules. Process imagery, map, sensor, and traffic data; support foundation-model training, evaluation, and fine-tuning; and deliver tested, documented components to MLOps for production serving. The role requires strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, deep learning experience, retrieval-system knowledge, and familiarity with high-volume spatial data.

Leads quality management, process improvement, ISO 9001 audits, QMS governance, root cause analysis, CAPA, statistical process control, risk management, and quality analytics. The role drives Lean Six Sigma and Agile quality practices across global engineering, product, operations, and customer-facing teams while mentoring quality professionals and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Lead the architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring of production-grade machine learning systems for high-definition, ADAS, ISA, and IVI maps. Lead work across computer vision, NLP, deep learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, MLOps, data ingestion, model training, inference, and scalable cloud or in-vehicle deployment. Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture and code reviews, integrate ML outputs with mapping workflows, and translate business requirements into reliable ML system designs.

Leads AI/ML strategy, technical vision, and delivery of scalable machine learning platforms for map editing and maintenance. Drives generative AI, agentic AI, computer vision, LLM, automation, MLOps, governance, observability, security, and responsible AI adoption. Mentors data scientists, leads multidisciplinary initiatives, translates business needs into measurable solutions, and influences executives, customers, vendors, and partners.
