Experienced embedded Linux engineer having strong expertise in software architecture design, Wifi, xPON ONT system development, and L2/L3 forwarding software. Skilled in ARM/MIPS architecture, device driver development, and debugging in embedded systems. Proficient in C, scripting languages, and Linux kernel programming, with hands-on experience in low level Wifi SW development and bug fixing. Focused on delivering high-quality, customer-oriented features and maintaining effective cross-team collaboration.
ResponsibilitiesAre you passionate about becoming a part of efficient BBD SW group, you will be responsible for:
- Customer specification and requirement analysis together with product manager and product architecture
- Software design and implementation according to product and technical specification
- Embedded Linux software development for Network protocols, Wifi, layer 2/3 data forwarding, GPON
- Responsible for continuous software module refactoring and architecture evolution and new feature addition.
- Analysing, debugging and fixing customer issues. Doing Root Cause Analysis and defining and implementing preventive actions.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecom or equivalent
- 7 to 15 years of experience in network SW development projects primarily on Wifi.
- Experience in 802.11 specifications.
- Wifi driver development/intergration/bug fixing expertise.
- Wifi 6,7 knowledge with RRM.
- Good understanding of WiFi control and data paths on Qualcomm or similar WiFi SoCs
- Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi security protocols, including WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X/EAP
- Experience with wireless debugging and validation tools such as iw, iperf, and chipset-specific utilities (e.g., QXDM/QCAT for Qualcomm)
- Hands-on experience with the Linux networking stack (wpa_supplicant, hostapd, netlink)
It would be nice if you also had
- Good knowledge in software design and development, well understanding on the embedded Linux and OPENWRT, PurpleOS system
- Proficient in C/C++ and Script programming languages
- Development experience in Network layer 2/3 data forwarding development
- Development experience in GPON, ONT, home gateway products or wifi Extenders.
- Fluency in technical writing and communication skills
