Skilled Web Application Tester who combines strong automation testing expertise with in-depth knowledge of telecom networking protocols and architectures. The ideal candidate will validate web-based applications used in telecom environments, ensuring they function correctly under real-world network conditions while leveraging automation to improve testing efficiency
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
Perform manual and automated testing including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing
Test web applications against telecom-specific scenarios involving network latency, packet loss, bandwidth constraints, and protocol behavior
Test applications against telecom protocols including HTTP/2, WebSocket and RESTful APIs.
Validate API endpoints using Postman for telecom service integrations
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3-8 years of experience in Web application Testing.
- Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, REST Assured
- Programming languages: Java (strong), Python, JavaScript
- Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Knowledge of security testing tools
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile/Scrum methodologies
