Job Title: Staff Platform Engineer (ION)
Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

In the role of ION Staff Platform Engineer, you will lead the configuration, customisation, testing, deployment, and support of platforms across development, testing, automation, and enterprise environments. You will drive innovation by solving complex technical problems and delivering high‑quality solutions that elevate user experience and influence evolving industry benchmarks.
Roles & responsibilities:
Lead as owner on assigned project Delivery items.
Requirements analysis and end to end delivery of projects
Configuring, customising, testing, deploying and supporting vendor Platform and integrations
Representation of change and releases on periodic basis.
Conducting of support reviews and take care of customer issues
Representation to aligned architecture, change and security teams
Assistance with team build out including mentoring and interviews
Lead of Test and Platform Automation initiatives
support work in a rota will be required as we work in DevSecOps where same team builds, deploys, operates the platform
Essential skills:
Minimum 12 years of experience.
Good Understanding of ION Platform Solutions such as Repo E-Trading, Credit and Rates trading solutions
Deep knowledge of ION Solution deployment, Business workflow, Log analysis and general diagnostics
Deep knowledge of enterprise builds and CI/CD tools
good knowledge of DevOps concepts, e.g. observability, CI/CD, release management, certificate management, etc.
Good understanding of Fixed Income and Repo Products
Good knowledge of test automation best practices and tools
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
