Senior Manager – Healthcare Account Management, Presales & Solutioning
Band C, India Based
Role Overview
Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting Account Management activities including account research, solutioning and reporting across EXL’s Healthcare Provider portfolio. The role will begin in a supporting capacity, with opportunities to expand into a more client-facing role over time based on performance.
The role combines account management, presales and solutioning, and account management & sales operations support. The individual will work closely with account managers, client executives, sales, solutioning, delivery, operations, and offshore teams to translate client priorities into practical, executable solutions while ensuring disciplined reporting, pipeline governance, and measurable business value.
Account Management
- Support day-to-day account management and client engagement across assigned healthcare accounts to support client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Develop account intelligence by tracking client priorities, whitespace opportunities, and competitive positioning across assigned accounts.
- Drive prospecting within assigned accounts by researching target executives, and creating targeted outreach plans to expand EXL’s footprint.
Solutioning
- Lead presales, solutioning, and client enablement activities aligned with EXL’s healthcare growth strategy.
- Develop integrated solutions for new revenue pursuits across healthcare operations, finance and accounting, revenue cycle, data &analytics, AI and digital transformation.
- Orchestrate RFP and RFI process across healthcare provider pursuits, including solution design, stakeholder coordination, and submission management.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain and update SFDC records for assigned accounts, opportunities, contacts, pursuits, and account-level activities.
- Support preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review materials for sales and account management teams.
- Maintain data quality across sales and account management trackers, templates, and systems.
Experience & Competency Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in account management, presales, solutioning, consulting, or solution leadership roles, with healthcare domain experience across providers, revenue cycle, F&A operations, analytics, or digital operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, support business development, proposal management, and account growth in consulting, BPS, technology services, or outsourcing environments.
- Working knowledge of SFDC/Salesforce reporting, pipeline management, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry priorities, F&A value chain, operating models, and business process services.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
