Working Days: 6 days a week

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Role Summary

A reputed stainless steel fastener manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase order management, logistics coordination, bill processing, and reporting activities.

The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to procurement activities in the manufacturing sector and possess strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills. Experience in the engineering, hardware, construction, or manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries and prepare comparative statements for finished goods and raw materials.
  
• Follow up with vendors regarding quotations, deliveries, and pending purchase orders.
  
• Prepare local purchase orders and receipt challans.
  
• Coordinate transportation arrangements and dispatch activities.
  
• Support procurement activities related to various projects and operational requirements.
  
• Resolve vendor-related concerns, including shortages, delays, and quality-related issues.
  
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Process bills related to vendors, transporters, and service providers.
  
• Prepare documentation related to shipments and logistics requirements.
  
• Generate reports related to pending purchase orders, invoices, and procurement activities.
  
• Handle E-Way Bills, maintenance-related purchase orders, factory requirements, and import enquiries.
  
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  
• Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management will be an advantage.
  

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  
• Experience in hardware, engineering, construction, or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
  
• Experience with ERP software and inventory management systems will be an added advantage.
  

Required Skills

• Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  
• Knowledge of procurement processes and purchase order management.
  
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and ERP software.
  
• Understanding of transportation management and logistics coordination.
  
• Basic knowledge of E-Way Bills and import documentation.
  
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
