We are seeking an experienced DPDPA Project Coordinator to support and coordinate the successful implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023 across the organization. This role serves as the central point of coordination between internal stakeholders and implementation partners, ensuring seamless execution, governance, and timely delivery of all privacy and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in privacy, regulatory compliance, risk management, and information security, combined with proven project coordination skills. You will work closely with business, legal, IT, HR, cybersecurity, and external consulting teams to drive enterprise-wide privacy transformation, monitor implementation progress, and establish sustainable governance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end DPDPA implementation activities, ensuring timely execution of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and implementation partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, implementation trackers, RAID logs, documentation, and executive status reports.
  • Organize project governance meetings, track action items, monitor risks, and escalate issues where required.
  • Support privacy initiatives including current-state assessments, gap analysis, risk assessments, remediation planning, governance implementation, training, and program closure.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of privacy policies, procedures, consent management processes, data retention practices, breach response, and data principal rights management.
  • Collaborate with Information Security, Legal, Compliance, HR, and IT teams to align technical and organizational controls with DPDPA requirements.
  • Monitor remediation activities, validate closure of identified compliance gaps, and maintain evidence repositories for audit readiness.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and drive accountability throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Prepare leadership dashboards and governance reports to provide clear visibility into project progress, risks, and compliance status.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 2+ years of experience in Privacy, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security, Governance, or Regulatory Programs.
  • Hands-on involvement in at least two end-to-end DPDPA implementation projects, including assessment, gap analysis, remediation, governance establishment, and program closure.
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023, privacy governance frameworks, enterprise risk management, and information security principles.
  • Proven experience coordinating enterprise-wide projects involving multiple stakeholders, consulting partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project planning, documentation, governance, reporting, and implementation tracking skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Experience working with privacy technologies, compliance initiatives, or regulatory transformation programs is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISM, CRISC, DPO, or Privacy Officer certificationswill be an added advantage.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive successful privacy and compliance outcomes in a dynamic environment.
