Role Overview: Project & ODC Operations
In this role, you will act as a critical link between customers, carriers/transporters, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of Project Cargo and Over Dimensional Cargo (ODC) movements. The position requires strong coordination, problem-solving, and operational ownership in high-stakes logistics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end execution of Project & ODC shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
- Coordinate closely with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders for operational alignment.
- Drive execution against defined timelines, milestones, and project plans.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational risks, delays, and service issues.
- Identify and proactively resolve customer pain points to minimize disruptions.
- Align customer requirements with Maersk’s Logistics & Services (L&S) solutions.
- Adherence to MPL’s QHSE guidelines.
- Identify system/process gaps and initiate continuous improvement actions.
- Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ensure timely completion of customer invoicing and vendor payments in line with defined TAT.
Who We’re Looking For: A person who possesses ….
- Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to manage complex expectations.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Logistics / ODC operations.
- Solid understanding of ODC transport modes. (route surveys, heavy lift, multimodal, Port/CFS Operations etc.)
- Understanding of importance QHSE requirement.
- Advanced Excel and presentation/Communication skills.
- Working Knowledge of Cargo wise 1 (CW1) system will be an added advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination ability.
- Process-driven approach with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask and adapt priorities quickly.
