Responsibilities would comprise of:

·         Drafting, Vetting and Negotiation of Customers/ Vendor / supplier agreements/ special contracts/ tender documents/ NDAs entered into by the company. Coordinating with distinct stakeholders within the organization pertaining to execution of various Agreements and if necessary to carry out amendments;

·         Implementation of contract lifecycle management tool for end-to-end tracking of all contracts;

·         Drafting, vetting and reviewing Company’s internal policies and procedures;

·         Supervising and supporting compliances of the insurance subsidiary of the company

·         To be abreast of the latest applicable law guidelines and circulars  in order to assess and implement the reporting impact;

·         Providing legal support to group companies in Thailand and Malaysian whenever required;

·         Providing opinion/advise on various issues of various departments/ business units;

·         Liaising external legal advisers as appropriate. Developing a network of external lawyers/law firms for opinion on legal matters;

·         Managing contract records (physically and digitally) and keeping it UpToDate;

·         Conducting research on case laws whenever required.

Qualifications required:

  • LLB/LLM from reputed institute/college and with minimum 7- 10 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields in Indian/multinational corporation.
  • Knowledge of commercial law, good understanding of business situations and knowledge of legal processes.
  • Exposure of dealing with insurance regulation desirable
  • Expertise for Word and Adobe, Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, listing and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently as a team member.
  • Should have worked on the contract management tool (preferred)
  • Candidate with working experience in legal departments of a company will be preferred.
