Reporting To: Sr. Manager HR

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Industrial Relations activities and maintain harmonious employee and union relations.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, charge sheets, warning letters, and misconduct investigations.
  • Coordinate with union representatives and support collective bargaining and wage settlement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Labour Laws, Factories Act, Industrial Relations Code, CLRA, Apprentices Act, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
  • Monitor compliance of contract labour contractors and maintain statutory records and returns.
  • Liaise with labour authorities, government officials, legal consultants, and advocates.
  • Support handling of labour disputes, legal cases, conciliation proceedings, and court matters.
  • Conduct compliance audits and drive corrective actions across the plant.
  • Prepare MIS reports related to IR, legal matters, disciplinary cases, and statutory compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA/MLW/MSW (HR/IR) or equivalent qualification. LLB preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Industrial Relations and Labour Law Compliance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in handling unionized workforce, disciplinary processes, contract labour management, and legal compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
