We are looking for a results-driven and ambitious International Business Development Manager to lead and expand our global business development and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international sales, business development, client acquisition, market expansion, and relationship management across global markets.

This role is ideal for a professional who understands international markets, can identify and convert new business opportunities, and is comfortable working with clients, partners, and stakeholders across different geographies and time zones. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic relationships, and strengthening the organization’s international presence.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute international business development strategies to identify new markets, customers, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
  • Drive end-to-end international sales, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
  • Research international markets, industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, channel partners, consultants, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified international leads through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, events, digital channels, and other business development initiatives.
  • Conduct product/service presentations, demonstrations, commercial discussions, and negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, commercial offers, and business cases tailored to international customers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation, closure, onboarding, and relationship management.
  • Meet and exceed assigned international sales and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product, operations, finance, and customer success to ensure smooth execution of international business initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate CRM records, and provide regular reports on pipeline, conversions, revenue, and market development.
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships, distributors, agents, and alliances to accelerate international market penetration.
  • Travel internationally when required for client meetings, exhibitions, conferences, partner meetings, and business development activities.
Must-Have Skills
  • Strong experience in International Sales and International Business Development.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build sales pipelines, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Excellent understanding of international markets, sales cycles, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of B2B sales processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tools, MS Office/Google Workspace, and business communication platforms.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience working with clients across multiple international regions such as the US, UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC, or other global markets.
  • Experience in channel sales, strategic partnerships, distributor management, or enterprise sales.
  • Exposure to international trade practices, cross-border business operations, or global market expansion.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business, International Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience

1–10 years of relevant experience in International Sales, International Business Development, B2B Sales, Global Business Development, or a related field.
