The HR Manager India & Thailand will establish and expand FoodChain ID’s HR presence across the Asian region. This role will establish and oversee all aspects of regional HR operations, including the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support business growth. The HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to regional leadership, helping to shape the company culture, enable organizational capability, and ensure compliance across the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies to support the company’s expansion and growth objectives across Asia.
  • Policy & Process Development: Design and implement region-specific HR policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with global standards.
  • Organizational Design: Support local leadership with talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Culture Building: Partner with leadership to drive engagement, culture, and change initiatives that reflect FoodChain ID’s values.
  • Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations matters and ensure compliance with local employment laws across Asian jurisdictions.
  • HR Governance: Establish consistent HR processes, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and reporting quality.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and oversee the local HR team, including the HR Associate.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with global HR to align regional initiatives with global HR priorities.
  • Talent Acquisition Oversight: Guide the recruitment and onboarding process for key positions across Asia.
  • HR Analytics: Lead HR reporting and metrics to provide insights for decision-making at the regional level.

Your Profile
  • 12+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, at best having overseen multi-country operations.
  • Strong expertise in employment legislation in India, and preferably other Asian markets such as Thailand.
  • Proven success in setting up HR frameworks, policies, and infrastructure in a growing international business.
  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders to drive people strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English required; additional Asian languages an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

This is a full-time hybrid role with presence required in Mumbai office on a regular basis.
