The role also contributes to client market updates and portfolio commentaries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fundamental research on listed companies, sectors, and
macroeconomic trends to generate investment ideas for PMS
portfolios.
• Perform detailed company analysis, including business models,
industry dynamics, financial performance, management quality, and
competitive positioning.
• Build and maintain robust financial models, earnings forecasts, and
valuation models (DCF, Relative Valuation, SOTP, etc.).
• Track quarterly earnings, corporate announcements, regulatory
developments, concalls, and key market events impacting portfolio
companies.
• Attend and summarize management concalls, investor presentations,
AGM/analyst meets, and industry interactions.
• Prepare investment notes, stock recommendations, initiating
coverage reports, sector reports, thematic research, and portfolio
review presentations.
• Support the Investment Committee by preparing research material,
investment rationale, and portfolio review documents.
• Monitor existing PMS portfolio holdings and recommend actions
based on changes in fundamentals, valuations, or market conditions.
• Benchmark companies against peers using financial ratios, valuation
multiples, and operating metrics.
• Maintain research databases, valuation models, sector trackers,
screening tools, and investment dashboards.
• Collaborate with company management, industry experts, channel
partners, and other market participants to gather investment insights.
• Ensure research documentation complies with internal investment
processes and applicable SEBI PMS guidelines.
• Assist in preparing client-friendly market updates, portfolio
commentaries, and quarterly investment reports in coordination with
the PMS team.
Education Qualifications &
Certification:
• Post Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a
related discipline.
• CFA (All levels completed)
• NISM-Series XV: Research Analyst Certification preferred.
• CA or FRM will be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills Required :
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Equity Research, Asset
Management, PMS, Mutual Funds, AIF, Investment Advisory,
Brokerage, or Investment Banking.
• Strong experience in preparing financial models, valuation models,
and investment research reports.
• Hands-on exposure to financial databases and research platforms
such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Ace Equity, Trendlyne, Screener, or
similar tools will be an added advantage.
