Serves as the primary customer-facing CPQ expert, leads workshops, UAT, rollouts, troubleshooting, and governance, while mentoring consultants and developers and validating technical designs, estimates, and delivery plans.

Job DescriptionREQUIREMENTS:
- Total Experience: 9+ years
- Must have experience as a SAP CPQ Solution Architect / CPQ Technical Architect
- Should have exposure to customer-facing CPQ authority leading global CPQ design & delivery
- Should be able to lead end-to-end global SAP CPQ solution architecture for enterprise rollouts.
- Should have strong SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) background.
- Should be able to own CPQ design across product configuration, pricing, quoting, BOM, approvals.
- Should be able to drive advanced CPQ scripting standards using IronPython.
- Should be able to architect integrations with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, CRM, Commerce, CPI/APIs.
- Must ensure replication of pricing/config logic across interconnected systems.
- Should be able to serve as the primary customer-facing CPQ expert in workshops and governance.
- Should be able to provide technical credibility to compete with specialist CPQ partners.
- Mentor and upskill CPQ consultants and technical developers in the team.
- Should have multiple SAP CPQ rollouts, deep Quote-to-Cash expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
- Define scalable architecture for complex rule engines and guided selling.
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
- Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
