Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications that support business functions. The position demands continuous monitoring, investigation, and collaboration to maintain system stability and performance, often requiring quick thinking and adaptability to address complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize performance through effective team coordination.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning within SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of database management and operating system fundamentals related to SAP systems.
- Ability to manage system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes effectively.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Skilled in analyzing system logs and diagnosing complex technical issues to provide timely resolutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
