Responsibilities include provisioning, HA and live migration, storage and network integration (iSCSI, NFS, SAN, FC), performance tuning, patching/security hardening, backup/restore and DR replication, incident RCA, and coordination with OS, storage, network, backup, and cloud teams under ITIL processes.

Administer and maintain RHEL/Linux servers and HPC compute nodes, manage Kubernetes clusters, and ensure system reliability, security, performance, and availability. Perform tuning, patching, hardening, monitoring, capacity management, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Automate administration with Ansible, shell scripting, and Python, integrate compute/storage/networking, and maintain documentation and operational procedures.

Manage and optimize S3 and NFS storage platforms in HPC environments to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, capacity planning, access control, replication, backups, and secure data access. Troubleshoot storage and data-access issues, integrate storage with Linux and Kubernetes workloads, automate administration, perform health monitoring and incident RCA, and maintain operational documentation.

Manage, maintain, and support Linux server environments including installation, configuration, performance monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, security updates, automation via scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with development and network teams.

Administer, tune, secure, backup and recover Microsoft and Oracle databases for a government entity. Monitor performance, apply patches/upgrades, manage high-availability and change management, and troubleshoot issues collaboratively.

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL. Transform large datasets, optimize data ingestion and queries, monitor pipeline performance, resolve data quality issues, support data modeling, document engineering standards, and contribute to cloud data infrastructure improvements. The role also involves collaboration with architects and senior engineers and requires familiarity with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, governance, and security.
