Manage and optimize S3 and NFS storage platforms in HPC environments to ensure high availability, performance, scalability, capacity planning, access control, replication, backups, and secure data access. Troubleshoot storage and data-access issues, integrate storage with Linux and Kubernetes workloads, automate administration, perform health monitoring and incident RCA, and maintain operational documentation.
We are looking for Expert Storage Administrators with strong hands-on experience managing S3 and NFS storage platforms within high-performance computing (HPC) environments. The role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, capacity, and secure data access across storage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, configure, and support S3 and NFS storage platforms.
- Monitor and optimize storage performance, capacity, availability, and scalability.
- Manage storage access, permissions, quotas, replication, and data protection.
- Troubleshoot storage, filesystem, and data-access issues across HPC environments.
- Support storage integration with Linux, Kubernetes, and HPC workloads.
- Perform storage health monitoring, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
- Support data replication, backup, recovery, and protection mechanisms.
- Automate routine storage administration and maintenance activities where applicable.
- Participate in incident resolution and root-cause analysis for storage-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a Storage Administrator / Storage Engineer.
- Expert-level S3 and NFS administration is mandatory.
- Experience supporting HPC storage environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux storage and filesystem administration.
- Experience integrating storage with Kubernetes/containerized workloads.
