AWS Workspace VDI Consultant - Job Description (9-11 Years Experience) - G6 ________________________________________ Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced AWS Workspace VDI Consultant with 9-11 years of strong IT experience to manage, design, and deploy cloud-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions centered on AWS WorkSpaces. This expert role requires in-depth knowledge of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise security to deliver scalable, secure, and optimized desktop environments for our clients. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Lead design, architecture, and deployment of AWS WorkSpaces and VDI solutions tailored to business needs. • Oversee migration of on-premises or legacy VDI environments to AWS WorkSpaces. • Configure AWS WorkSpaces integrations with Active Directory, VPN, multi-factor authentication, and networking components. • Monitor and optimize VDI performance including user experience, connectivity, and system stability. • Troubleshoot production issues related to AWS WorkSpaces and VDI infrastructure. • Implement and enforce security policies, encryption, access controls, and compliance strategies. • Develop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams and operational manuals. • Train internal teams and end-users on usage and best practices for cloud VDI solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and cloud providers to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support. • Provide expert guidance on VDI technologies, AWS best practices, and emerging trends.
