Monitor and tune website response time and server performance using caching, content delivery networks (CDN), load balancing, compression, and server/database tuning; conduct load/stress testing and capacity planning.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website and application-related issues.
Administer and configure Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal — installation, updates, plugin/theme management, and user access — without requiring custom application development.

Provide technical support for web-related issues and ensure minimum downtime.
Publish, update, archive website content (text, images, documents, video) as requested by stakeholders
Ensure content follows brand guidelines, WCAG accessibility standards, and SEO best practices

Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in web server administration and infrastructure management (website development experience alone does not meet this requirement).
Hands-on experience managing DNS records, domain registration/renewal, and troubleshooting DNS/propagation issues.
Experience evaluating and managing web hosting infrastructure (shared/VPS/dedicated/cloud), SSL/TLS certificates, and hosting vendor relationships.
Experience implementing web/application security controls: WAF, vulnerability scanning, patch management, and incident response.
Experience administering web server software (IIS, Apache, Nginx).
Experience administering, maintaining, and independently managing multiple production websites (development-only experience is not sufficient).
Experience in system monitoring, performance analysis, performance tuning, and load/stress testing.
Experience in website security, access control, backup management, and technical documentation.
Skills and Competencies
Strong hands-on knowledge of DNS management (zone records, propagation, domain administration).
Strong knowledge of web hosting considerations (shared/VPS/dedicated/cloud hosting, SSL/TLS, vendor SLAs).
Strong knowledge of web/application security (firewalls, WAF, vulnerability management, patching, DDoS mitigation).
Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS.
Knowledge of web server/website response-time monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning (caching, CDN, load balancing).
Working knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal), basic HTML/PHP, and databases (MySQL/MSSQL) is an added advantage, but this is an administration role — not a web development or coding position.
