As a Business Operations & Analytics Associate, you will optimize ground transportation networks. You will analyze freight data, track carrier performance, and improve supply chain efficiency. This entry-level role bridges the gap between daily logistics operations and data-driven strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Track daily metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like On-Time Delivery (OTD) and cost-per-mile.
  • Build data dashboards: Create visual reports using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Spot market trends: Analyze spot market rates and capacity fluctuations.
  • Identify cost leaks: Find inefficiencies in fuel spend, driver detention, and empty miles.
Logistics Operations Support
  • Optimize routing: Assist dispatchers in planning the most efficient highway routes.
  • Monitor carrier compliance: Track safety scores, insurance validity, and contract adherence.
  • Resolve bottlenecks: Coordinate with warehouse teams to reduce loading delays.
  • Audit freight bills: Cross-check invoices against agreed contract rates to prevent overbilling.
Strategy & Process Improvement
  • Forecast demand: Predict seasonal shipping volume surges using historical data.
  • Simulate network changes: Test how new distribution hubs impact transit times.
  • Automate workflows: Replace manual data entry tasks with basic scripts or macros.

    Required Skills & Qualifications
    Technical Skills
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, or Mathematics.
