As Team Lead for Finance & Accounting Operations, you'll oversee the accounting cycle for clients, lead a team of accountants, ensure high-quality service, and work on process improvements. Responsibilities:
- As an Team Leader, Finance & Accounting (F&A) Operations, you will be responsible for reviewing end-to-end accounting cycle for our clients. You will review, analyse, and deliver relevant, timely and accurate information that is used for providing strategic, financial, and operational feedback for our clients.
- Develop a high performing team of Staff Accountants/Senior Accountants whose expertise lies is in posting, preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, preparing financial statements, supporting month end closing, preparing reports, providing statutory / tax audit support.
- Engineer Client Delight – deliver prompt & consistently high-quality service while ensuring client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and timelines are met with. You will go out of your way to provide our clients with the best white gloved service they have ever experienced.
- Process Improvement - work closely with Operations and Product teams on providing and analysing data while streamlining and automating repetitive accounting processes. Work on improvement projects including simplifications and enhanced controls.
- Create a cohesive work environment that foster healthy competition, compliance, integrity and improvement of operations.
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of relevant experience with strong domain knowledge and solid foundation of bookkeeping, accounting & financial procedures. Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred, though not mandatory.
- Having prior experience working with US based accounting processes and familiarity with US GAAP is an added advantage.
- High emotional quotient, excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. You have experience working with cross functional teams while multitasking several clients / projects. Experience working with US clients is an added advantage.
- You are open to working in rotational shifts.
