Your day-to-day will involve monitoring team operations, analyzing advertising data, investigating suspicious activity, and working with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that keep the platform secure. We’ll teach you the fraud detection tools and processes, and you’ll get to lead your team to success while keeping our clients happy and ensuring Taboola’s advertising ecosystem stays fraud-free.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
We’re looking for someone with:
- 2+ years of experience in programming with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills to take on complex fraud cases with a logical and structured approach.
- Proficiency in database management and advanced SQL (experience with databases is a bonus!).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English and a collaborative mindset for working with international teams.
- Fast learning capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- A data-driven approach, always looking for ways to use tools and trends to make things better.

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
As an Advertiser Risk and Analysis Team Lead, you’ll:
- Fraud detection and investigation: Lead your team in using fraud detection tools to identify and investigate fraudulent activities like cloaking. We’ll show you exactly how to do this, so you can guide your team effectively.
- Data analysis: Help your team analyze advertising data to spot anomalies related to malvertising, cloaking, and billing incidents. You’ll present your findings to management and suggest improvements.
- Collaboration and communication: You’ll work closely with internal teams (like account managers, sales, and operations) to solve fraud-related problems and team up with data scientists and engineers to implement fraud prevention strategies.
- Reporting and insights: Lead the charge on reporting fraud incidents and trends, and provide insights that will help us continuously improve fraud prevention efforts.
- Fraud prevention measures: You’ll be hands-on in implementing tools, real-time alerts, and automated systems to proactively prevent fraud, while also monitoring campaigns and maintaining fraud prevention measures.
- Staying ahead of the curve: Research new fraud detection techniques, industry trends, and technologies. We’ll provide you with the resources to keep learning and improving our prevention capabilities.
