TD Functional Consultant | Mumbai

They are responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Term Deposit products within a bank’s core banking system. They work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure TD products are aligned with regulatory standards and customer needs. Their primary goal is to ensure that Term Deposit operations (such as account creation, interest calculation, renewals, and maturity handling) are accurately reflected in the system and aligned with business, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Managerial Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements related to Term Deposit products and services.
2. Configure and customize TD modules.
3. Design functional specifications and process flows for TD operations.
4. Collaborate with developers to implement and test TD functionalities.
5. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve functional issues.
6. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
7. Participate in product upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
8.Translate complex banking needs into functional system configurations.

Functional Responsibilities

1. Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand Term Deposit product needs. Analyze regulatory and operational requirements for TD lifecycle (creation, renewal, interest accrual, maturity, closure).
2.Configure Term Deposit modules. Customize product parameters such as interest rates, tenures, penalties, and rollover rules.
3.Design and execute functional test cases for TD operations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve defects or gaps.
4.Liaise with developers, QA teams, and business users to ensure alignment. Act as a bridge between technical teams and banking operations.
5.Ensure TD configurations comply with local banking regulations and internal policies. Support audits and risk assessments related to deposit products.
6.Provide training to end-users and support teams on TD functionalities. Offer post-implementation support and troubleshoot functional issues.

Qualifications: M.Tech/B.Tech Or Equivalent Bachelors Degree

Experience: 10 to 15 years
