Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Modelling

  • Analyze large and complex datasets related to inventory, demand, logistics, and supply performance.
  • Use Python and/or R for statistical analysis, forecasting, regression, optimization, and other analytical models to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Python/R or BI tools to monitor supply chain KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, service levels, lead times).

2. Forecasting & Optimization

  • Build demand forecasting reports, trend analyses, and simulations to support planning and inventory decisions.
  • Recommend optimization strategies for inventory, transportation, and operational efficiency.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with procurement, operations, logistics, IT and finance teams to understand business needs and deliver analytical solutions.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in clear and actionable formats.

4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Create standard and ad-hoc reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using analytical techniques.

Education & Experience

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

* Prior experience (typically 2+ years) in supply chain analysis, operations

analytics, or a data analytics role is preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R — ability to use libraries/packages for data manipulation (pandas, dplyr), statistical modelling, forecasting, and data visualization.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and statistical skills with experience building models and interpreting results.
  • Experience with SQL, advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros), and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software (ERP systems like SAP, Anaplan, Oracle) is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail.
  • Strong communication skills to present technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
