Supplier Manager I

What's the role?
*Provides executive, professional, and support services in the areas of administrative services, facilities, security, technical training, general project/program/ portfolio management, supplier management and purchasing.
*Maximizes the capabilitiesof outsourced partners to deliver strategic goals; Comprehensively manage HERE's Contractual, operational and financial risks with the Suppliers. Provide analyses on Partners , oversee costs, and ensure the terms of contracts are followed by all parties. Drives development of action plans to achieves performance against agreed goals to align on business priorities, identifies improvement opportunities, drives proactive corrective/preventative action approach for improved performance.
*Maintains a positive relationship with each vendor and utilizing the expertise of other professionals to research, analyse and monitor vendors
*Supervises the daily activities of employees or a sub-function or manages an org-wide body of work or process/functional role. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
*Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Does not typically perform the work supervised
Who are you?
*Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ years and a
Master's degree; or a PhD with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience.
* Engineering background preferred.
* People/ Project Management experience
