Role Overview:
We are looking for a proficient Data Analyst/Engineer with strong expertise in R, SQL, and Hadoop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets, developing data models, and supporting our data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in our data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced data analysis and statistical modeling using R.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various data sources.
- Implement data quality checks and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
- Optionally, manage and process large datasets using Hadoop or other big data technologies.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or data engineering with a strong focus on R and SQL.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization using R.
- Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for various databases.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
