Job Description: Staff Design Engineer
We are looking for a Staff Design Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

Location: This position will be based in Juinagar, Navi Mumbai
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design of assembly modules for our current and future products
- Utilize engineering knowledge to provide solutions to challenging design problems
- Source off the shelf components to be used in technical designs
- Create and manage Solidworks CAD models, drawings and assemblies
- Control drawing and model releases through an ECN process
- Manage and coordinate with other engineers, investigate and undertake analysis to improve the overall scope of the project.
- Work with a cross-functional development team to relay design and engineering intent
- lead a team of engineers and plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Work with contract manufacturing partners through the DFM, DFS and DFR process to bring products from prototype to production
- Collaborate and work cross functionally with the global engineering team
Skills and Experience:
- B.Tech/BE/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years related work experience
- CAD Modeling experience (Solidworks preferred)
- Good understanding of Mechanical Design Code and Standards
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, such as fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, materials engineering
- Basic understanding of sheet metal, machining and welding techniques
- Exposure to Structural and Vibration Analysis
- Ability to understand existing mechanisms and visualize improvements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience of managing a small team of design engineers a plus.
