LogicMonitor is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to serve as the primary HR partner for employees, managers, and regional leaders across the APJ region.

This is a broad, hands-on regional HR role responsible for delivering the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and workplace experience to employee relations, performance, engagement, offboarding, and local employment compliance. Because our international offices operate with a smaller local footprint and fewer dedicated HR specialty resources than the U.S., this role requires a strong HR generalist who can navigate a wide range of people matters with independence, sound judgment, and local expertise.

The Senior HRBP will partner closely with U.S.-based functional HRBPs who support LogicMonitor’s department and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) leaders. Together, they ensure employees and leaders receive a connected experience across the regional and functional dimensions of our global matrix.

This role will partner directly with regional and senior functional leaders located within APJ, including SLT-level leaders where applicable. Direct partnership with an ELT member or ownership of a global functional client group is not a core expectation of the role, although that scope may be added based on business need.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for APJ, supporting employees, people managers, and regional/site leaders across the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the APJ employee population, business environment, and local cultures to identify people priorities, anticipate needs, and proactively address regional opportunities and challenges.
  • Partner with regional leadership on employee engagement, retention, organizational health, manager effectiveness, and local culture, bringing a strong people perspective to regional business decisions.
  • Independently advise and influence senior regional leaders, coach people managers, and navigate complex or sensitive employee and organizational situations.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, accommodations where applicable, and terminations, partnering with Legal and other specialists as appropriate.
  • Serve as the local HR lead for onboarding and offboarding, ensuring employees and managers have a consistent, high-quality experience while coordinating with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, IT, Workplace Experience, and other partners.
  • Partner with Workplace Experience and local leaders to foster an engaging and connected office and workplace experience, including regional culture, employee events, communications, and site-specific needs.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of local employment laws, statutory requirements, policies, and HR practices, proactively identifying risk and ensuring compliant employment practices.
  • Own or coordinate required local HR reporting, documentation, audits, government filings, and statutory compliance activities where those responsibilities sit with HR for the local employing entity.
  • Partner closely with U.S.-based functional HRBPs to execute global talent and performance strategies within APJ, bringing regional context and expertise to ensure department priorities, global programs, policies, and organizational changes are implemented effectively and compliantly within the region.
  • Support the regional execution of key people programs, including performance management, talent reviews, compensation cycles, engagement initiatives, manager enablement, workforce changes, and other cyclical talent programs.
  • Use people data and regional insights to identify trends in areas such as engagement, attrition, performance, workforce composition, and employee relations, and translate those insights into recommended actions.
  • Work effectively within a matrixed HRBP model where responsibility may be shared across regional and functional HRBPs. For example, the APJ Senior HRBP may directly support the APJ Sales Leader while partnering closely with the U.S.-based functional HRBP supporting the CRO and broader Sales leadership team to ensure regional and global priorities remain aligned.
  • Build strong partnerships across HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Workplace Experience, Legal, Finance, and other COEs, while remaining accountable for ensuring regional employee and manager needs are addressed end to end.
  • Leverage AI, automation, data, and HR technology to simplify regional HR work, improve the employee and manager experience, enable better decision-making, and reduce manual administration.
What You'll Need:
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or senior HR generalist within a multinational organization.
  • Broad HR generalist expertise across employee relations, performance management, employee lifecycle, engagement, change management, and local employment practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and statutory HR requirements, with demonstrated experience navigating employment practices across multiple APJ markets; experience supporting employees in Singapore strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently advise and influence senior regional leaders, coach people managers, and navigate complex or sensitive employee and organizational situations.
  • Experience operating successfully within a global, matrixed organization, including partnering effectively with HR colleagues and business leaders located across countries, functions, and time zones.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to balance employee experience, compliance, risk, and business needs.
  • Strong cultural awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse employee populations and leadership teams throughout APJ.
  • Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically—able to identify regional people priorities and influence leaders while also rolling up your sleeves to ensure important local work gets done.
  • Data and technology fluency, including the ability to use HR systems, analytics, automation, and AI tools to improve decision-making, efficiency, and employee experience.
