We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications. Job Summary
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into seamless, functional software. You will lead the development of robust Java backend services, optimize system performance, and ensure smooth data exchange with frontend interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable server-side applications using Java and J2EE.
API Implementation: Build and secure high-performance RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
System Optimization: Ensure the overall performance, scalability, and security of all server-side applications.
Design Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers to provide strong backend support for complex frontend features.
Requirements Translation: Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to understand, refine, and implement technical business requirements.
Technical Requirements
Core Backend: Deep expertise in Java, J2EE, and the Spring Boot framework.
Database Management: Proficiency in relational databases, specifically Oracle, Postgres, or standard SQL.
DevOps & Documentation: Mastery of version control tools (Git, BitBucket) and API documentation frameworks like Swagger.
Qualifications & Competencies
Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of proven experience in backend software development.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Principles: Deep understanding of core backend architecture and software development principles.
Methodologies: Experience working within fast-paced Agile development environments.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and strong collaborative communication.
Nice to Have Skills
Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
DevOps & Containers: Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Architecture: Practical familiarity with building and maintaining Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Reaact.js will be added advantage.
