OVERVIEW

This role will cross functionally partner with the Global Solutions Delivery Team in the US and India. It is an Individual contributor role. In this role, you will be supporting the existing Operations and various change management initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Configure and support SAP FICO across ECC and S/4HANA, covering GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, period-end closing, CO, CO-PA, Material Ledger, and Product Costing.

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP Project Systems, including WBS elements and Networks.

  • Design and deliver SAP and non-SAP finance solutions, including functional analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Lead integrations with SAP modules, peripheral systems, and third-party solutions such as SD, MM, PP, BW, BPC, OpenText, VIM, tax engines, Taulia, BlackLine, Coupa, and Maximo.

  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to design and implement efficient business processes using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

  • Manage end-to-end SAP implementations and support engagements across ECC and S/4HANA, ensuring business continuity and quality delivery.

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and SAP partners while providing strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and time management.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, including Generative AI use cases in SAP FICO, and provide flexible support during critical incidents, shifts, and major project implementations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Finance professional with a Bachelor / master’s degree in finance or qualified C.A.

  • Experience: Overall, 10-15 years of SAP Finance experience.

  • Technical Skills: SAP FICO skills (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Internal Order, Product Costing, Material Ledger & COPA), Project systems expertise covering WBS element & Network.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent internal personal skill to work as a team member with team in India and US, help and support each other and thrive for the collective success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • FSCM (Credit, Collection & Dispute) SAP Banking and Treasury, SAP Product Costing, COPA and Material Ledger are nice to have.

  • Excellent attitude to learn and grow with the team in an org like GMI.

  • Strong Product Costing, COPA and Project Systems knowledge and experience would be a differentiator.
