OVERVIEW

We are building next-generation sales capabilities through connected data, using retailer and syndicated sources to deliver reporting and analytics for the Noth America Retail Sales organization. As a Sr Analyst - Commercial Capabilities - Sales for D&T Commercial Capabilities – Sales you will be responsible for coordinating business logic, technical requirements and analysis to facilitate development by our technical team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work in a highly collaborative environment. Individual should be able to work independently on large enterprise projects. Individual should be expert in required technologies and provide guidance/help to others.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with teams across Sales, Ecommerce and Operating Units business partners to provide consultation and deliver robust technical solutions.

  • Delivering on NAR Sales Reporting Pod by bringing together multiple differing data sources to deliver a holistic reporting plan for Sales teams.

  • Champion/shepherd for all things within the NAR Sales Reporting Pod (inclusive of data, process, & enhancements).

  • Work with a cross-functional team including Analysts, Data Engineers, PM, BI developers, Solutions Architect and business stakeholders in business value driven projects.

  • Run, Operate & Transform –The analyst will work across all three..

  • Provide Technical consult on Data & Processes supporting our sales business partners.

  • Write both unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.

  • Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of solutions.

  • Create and sustain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders to support product strategy with data deliverables to ensure the data meets business needs.

  • Serve as a data expert for teams interacting with commercial data by learning key business use cases and providing thoughtful analysis and proposals to address them.

  • Partner with technical delivery teams on data processes to ensure well-defined data sets are available to downstream users, including ADO management.

  • Key Deliverables - Functional specifications/user stories/use cases/scenarios, Business process and system documentation, Service level agreements and support metrics.

  • Gather project requirements from downstream teams; translate requirements into technical documentation and communicate throughout the entire development process.

  • Serve as a trusted partner for the business and external partners when navigating support requests.

  • Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills, at both a strategic and tactical level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education – Full-time graduation from an accredited university.

  • Minimum years of experience required is 6-8 years in Analytics.

  • Data management understanding and experience, preferably from a technical perspective.

  • Data management understanding and experience, preferably from a technical perspective Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) and ability to apply/revise techno-functional standards. Experience with BigQuery and experience with writing SQL queries.

  • Ability to learn complex business processes, operations, and strategy to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Good understanding of agile methodologies and practices to assist with managing timelines and task prioritization.

  • Identifies business needs and successfully implements solutions, transforming business processes to deliver outstanding results.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business Analyst certifications

  • Demonstrates leadership, initiative, and ownership by proactively resolving issues and taking on multiple tasks.

  • Team player, self-driven, and able to mentor individuals in large teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; highly collaborative and able to build/sustain relationships.

ELIGIBILITY
