Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of SAP Basis administration and a desire to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You will assist in maintaining and supporting SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Support system upgrades and patch management.
- Collaborate with senior team members to implement SAP solutions and enhancements.
- Assist in user administration, security configuration, and transport management.
- Document processes and procedures related to SAP Basis administration.
- Participate in on-call support rotations as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts and components.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows) and databases (Oracle, HANA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to SAP HANA and cloud environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and backup/recovery strategies.
- Experience with monitoring tools and system performance analysis.
