Our Purpose:
Majesco is seeking a Technical Instructional Designer with deep expertise in end-to-end instructional design from intake and needs analysis through design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This role serves as a strategic learning partner to our global business, consulting with stakeholders, translating performance gaps into impactful learning solutions, and delivering engaging, modern experiences across eLearning, video, and virtual modalities. This role is ideal for a learning professional who is highly skilled in digital content creation, fluent in AI-powered workflows, and passionate about building learning that drives measurable outcomes. Critically, we're looking for someone who doesn't just use AI tools - they build with them, automating and accelerating instructional design processes through agents and workflows of their own creation.
This is a remote, work-from-home position based in India. Availability for periodic overlap with US business hours is required for cross-functional collaboration with our global team.
Instructional Design & Strategy
- Own the full instructional design lifecycle, including intake, needs analysis, solution design, development, implementation, and evaluation
- Lead comprehensive needs analysis efforts - stakeholder interviews, task analysis, audience profiling, and gap assessments to define learning objectives and recommended approaches
- Partner consultatively with SMEs, Product Owners, and technical teams across time zones to identify learning needs and validate content accuracy
- Design learning journeys aligned to business goals, performance outcomes, and adult learning principles
- Apply data, feedback, and evaluation results to continuously improve learning effectiveness and ROI
Digital & Learning Experience Design
- Design and develop self-paced eLearning using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), applying sound instructional design principles tailored to technical audiences
- Produce video-based learning content, software demonstrations, tutorials, and animated explainers, using tools such as Camtasia, Guidde, and/or Vyond
- Translate complex technical concepts and software workflows into clear, engaging, learner-centered experiences
- Ensure learning assets are accessible, scalable, and consistent with Majesco brand and experience standards
- Partner with the LMS team to ensure courses are properly packaged, published (SCORM/xAPI), and integrated into Majesco's learning platforms
AI & Innovation
- Leverage AI tools throughout the instructional design workflow: content generation, needs analysis support, assessment design, and learning evaluation (e.g., Glean, Claude, Guidde AI, Vyond AI, or similar)
- Build and deploy AI agents or automated workflows to streamline learning design and content development (e.g., automating storyboard generation, SME interview synthesis, course QA, etc.)
- Experiment with emerging learning technologies and AI-enabled workflows to improve speed, quality, and personalization of learning
- Stay current on L&D trends, AI use cases, and best practices, and apply them pragmatically to the organization
Virtual Lab & Technical Training Support
- Support development of virtual lab instruction sets and learner-facing documentation for technical training environments
- Collaborate with lab developers on hands-on learning experiences in cloud-based and virtualized environments
- Maintain and update existing training content to reflect product updates, workflow changes, or learner feedback
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Build and implement evaluation strategies to measure learning effectiveness and business impact
- Analyze learner feedback, performance data, and outcomes to inform improvements and future learning strategies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Enterprise Education processes, standards, and design practices
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience accepted
- 4+ years of instructional design experience with a strong emphasis on needs analysis, learning strategy, and self-paced eLearning development
- Demonstrated proficiency with Articulate 360 (both Rise and Storyline) for building interactive eLearning
- Hands-on experience producing video-based learning content using Camtasia, Guidde, Vyond, or similar tools
- Proven ability to conduct thorough needs analysis and translate findings into effective, measurable learning solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency leveraging AI tools throughout the instructional design workflow including content generation, needs analysis, assessment design, and learning evaluation
- Proven experience building or deploying AI agents or automated workflows to streamline learning design or content development processes
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to write clear instructional content and engage effectively with global stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a remote, deadline-driven environment
Preferred
- Familiarity with virtual lab platforms such as Skillable, CloudShare, or Pluralsight (Skillable experience a plus)
- Experience authoring instruction sets or learner guides for virtual lab or hands-on technical training environments
- Background working at a software or SaaS company, particularly in customer education or enterprise training
- Insurance industry knowledge (P&C, L&A, or group products)
- Familiarity with LMS administration and eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor eLearning customization
