JOB DESCRIPTION - Electrical LEAD
Position Summary
As a Electrical Lead at JLL, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical, aspects of Data Center projects. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with project management skills to ensure successful delivery of MEPF services within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Electrical design and installation activities for Data Center Projects
Review and validate MEP designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress
Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, RFIs, and change orders
Develop and manage project schedules for Electrical works
Perform cost analysis and budget management for Electrical components
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Participate in client meetings to discuss technical requirements and provide expert advice
Manage commissioning and testing of Electrical systems
Prepare technical reports and documentation for project handover
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
8/10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering with specific focus on Data Center Projects
Strong understanding of electrical systems in Data Center projects
Knowledge of building automation systems and energy-efficient design practices
Familiarity with relevant building codes and standards
Proven track record of successful MEP project delivery
Experience with MEP coordination tools and BIM software
Required Skills
Technical expertise in Electrical systems and Data Center requirements
Project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting MEP systems
Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient design
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineering license or certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with sustainable building practices and certification processes (LEED, WELL, etc.)
Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
Experience with construction management software
Working Conditions
May require travel to various project locations
Occasionally required to work outside normal business hours to accommodate project schedules
