The Solution Architect will design and implement advanced solutions for clients, collaborating with teams to understand business needs, providing technical leadership, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative and effective solutions that meet our clients' complex business requirements. Your expertise will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and objectives. Develop end-to-end solution architectures that align with these requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and usability.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Guide development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze client requirements, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Engage in discussions with clients, project managers, developers, and other relevant parties to ensure a clear understanding of the architectural vision.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks that could enhance the solution's architecture. Make recommendations based on the evaluation to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential technical risks and challenges early in the project lifecycle. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure the project's success.
- Quality Assurance: Define and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure that the developed solutions meet architectural standards and business requirements. Conduct code reviews and design reviews to maintain consistency and quality.
- Solution Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, technical specifications, and guidelines for development teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure seamless collaboration between teams. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to address technical issues and challenges.
Must-have
- Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of Spark (Just traditional Hadoop bases experience will not be sufficient)
- Hands-on experience with advanced SQL, and at least one of Python / Scala / Java
- Expertise in at least one of the three data personas: - Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and BI or ML Engineering
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the Public Clouds (AWS / Azure / GCP) and its native Data "Managed Services" ( Examples: EMR / Athena / SageMaker/ Synapse / Azure ML / Data Proc / Big Query etc)
- Familiarity with the core concepts of cloud architecture (fundamentals of cloud networking, cloud object stores, security & IAM etc )
Good-to-have
Experience in implementation/migration projects on Databricks and Databricks Certification are big positives.
- Experience in Data Orchestration tools or Data Ingestions tools
- Performance tuning skills on Spark, query tuning skills on distributed query engines
- Cloud best practices around Data movement, governance frameworks
- Dev Ops on Cloud, experience with Infa-as-code solutions like Terraform or CloudFormation.
