Partner with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure responsible AI adoption and data protection
Establish and implement governance models, design guidelines, and best practices for Copilot and Agentic AI solutions, including billing models
Support Service Owners and Business teams in identifying high-value Copilot scenarios and translating them into technical designs defining success metrics (productivity, quality, cycle time), building business cases, and avoiding “AI for AI’s sake”.
Guide the implementation of DLP, Purview controls, and access models related to Copilot usage
Contribute to automation and operational excellence using PowerShell and scripting where applicable
Act as a technical authority and advisor within the Copilot Center of Excellence
Support adoption, change management, and communication initiatives by translating architecture into clear, actionable guidance
Produce clear, reusable artifacts: reference architectures, decision records, security patterns, design blueprints, and operational runbooks that others can follow.
Comfort with operationalization: monitoring, incident patterns, service health, telemetry, lifecycle management, and automation (PowerShell strongly preferred).
Monitor Microsoft 365 Copilot roadmap, staying continuously aligned with Microsoft’s product direction, analyzing roadmap changes, and actively participating in private and public previews, internal programs initiatives to provide early architectural guidance, readiness assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders
Must-Have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with Over 12 years of enterprise in IT solution design and development experience, including 2+ years with Microsoft 365 Copilot and 3+ years in Power Platform and low-code architecture roles.
Understanding M365 identity, tenant design, service dependencies, and large-scale rollout patterns across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, and endpoint ecosystem.
Ability to explain how Copilot works across apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Loop, OneNote, and other M365 apps) and translate business scenarios into a safe, performant architecture.
Experience designing agents: intents, actions, orchestration, fallback, human-in-the-loop, conversation design, grounding strategies, and lifecycle/versioning.
Understanding of Microsoft Purview concepts: sensitivity labels, information protection, retention, eDiscovery basics, auditing—plus practical implementation patterns for Copilot readiness.
Strong understanding of identity and access controls, conditional access, least privilege, secure-by-default configurations, and how Copilot interacts with permissions and content exposure.
Able to design and operationalize DLP policies that protect data without blocking productivity — balancing risk, usability, and business outcomes and Knows how to craft, evaluate, and standardize prompts; can coach business users; and can implement guardrails (do/don’t patterns, safe prompting playbooks, red-teaming prompts).
Understanding of Azure components commonly used in integrations (identity/app registrations, APIs, Key Vault, monitoring, networking concepts), plus how enterprise controls apply.
Capable of connecting Copilot/agents to business data and workflows (connectors, APIs, Graph concepts, MCP servers), while handling authentication, authorization, and data boundaries correctly.
Nice-To-Have:
Proven ability to lead across Security, Legal, Privacy, Procurement, Communications, business owners, and service teams—especially when trade-offs are involved.
Ability to partner with adoption/comms teams to build playbooks, learning paths, champion networks, and “scaled enablement” models—critical for 120k+ users.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills: Written, Verbal and ability to present material management teams, create operational procedures guidance, and training.
