Develop and support ASP.NET Core applications and database-driven solutions using C#, .NET, and MS SQL Server. Build RESTful APIs, implement business logic, optimize queries and stored procedures, use ORM tools, troubleshoot defects, conduct root cause analysis, write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and manage Agile sprint tasks through Zoho Sprints.
Role Overview
We are looking for focused .NET Development Executives to build and support the core components of our platform. You are the execution engine of the engineering team.
Your primary responsibility is to develop robust ASP.NET-based applications and database-driven solutions using MS SQL Server, ensuring clean, efficient, and production-ready code. You will work closely with your Team Lead to deliver Sprint tasks defined in Zoho Sprints, while maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Development & Implementation
- Feature Development:Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement Sprint features.
- Develop web applications using ASP.NET Core / MVC / Web API.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Implement business logic and workflows using C# and .NET frameworks.
- Design and optimize database interactions using MS SQL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions).
- Database Management:
- Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Ensure data integrity, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Work with ORM tools like Entity Framework.
- Bug Fixing:Troubleshoot and resolve defects logged in Zoho Sprints.Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive fixes.
- Standard Adherence:Follow coding standards, naming conventions, folder structures, and versioning practices strictly.
2. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Unit Testing:Develop and maintain unit tests using frameworks such as xUnit / NUnit / MSTest.Ensure all code is “born tested” before QA handover.
- Integration Testing:Validate API integrations, database interactions, and system workflows.
- Self-Review:Verify all acceptance criteria before marking tasks as QA Ready in Zoho Sprints.
3. Process Participation (Agile & Tools)
- Daily Stand-ups:Provide clear daily updates on progress, plan, and blockers.
- Zoho Sprints Hygiene:
- Maintain real-time task status updates.
- Log daily efforts accurately against assigned work items.
- Code Reviews:
- Raise Pull Requests (PRs) with clear descriptions and test evidence.
- Actively incorporate feedback from Leads and Seniors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:3-5 years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET development.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core / MVC / Web API
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server (Query Writing, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning)
- Familiarity with ORM tools (Entity Framework / Dapper)
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API security concepts
- Frontend (Good to Have):Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React
- Tooling:
- Experience with Git (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Zoho Sprints / Agile tools (preferred)
- Mindset:Strong ownership, eagerness to learn, and a “completer-finisher” attitude
