Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can think like a brand custodian, act like a growth marketer, and collaborate like an agency partner — someone who’s ready to own the social media universe across one of India’s most diverse education portfolios.
If you’ve spent years inside an agency, juggling multiple brands and clients — or you’ve been running social for a consumer brand with high expectations — this role gives you scale, ownership, and impact.
What You’ll Own
This is a group-level leadership role, responsible for shaping and driving social media strategy across:
- All Stellarworld School campuses
- All Universal Schools
- Other K–12 brands under Universal
- Colleges under Universal Education
- Universal SkillTech University

Create one strategic backbone — while letting every brand sound like itself.
- What You’ll DoOwn the big picture: Define and drive the overall social media vision and strategy across brands
- Lead through agencies: Manage, brief, challenge, and partner with external social & creative agencies (this is non-negotiable)
- Keep brands sharp: Oversee content calendars, storytelling, and tone — ensuring consistency without killing creativity
- Be present where it matters: Guide and review social coverage of school, college, and university events
- Make data your co-pilot: Track performance, dig into insights, and optimise content and campaigns for impact
- Protect the brand: Ensure timely community engagement, issue management, and reputation hygiene
- Collaborate like a pro: Work closely with internal marketing, design, and leadership teams
- Scale influence: Oversee influencer collaborations and evaluate what actually moved the needle
- Who You Are8+ years in social media / digital marketing
- Have worked closely with agencies — either as a client or from inside an agency (mandatory)
- Comfortable managing multiple brands at once without dropping quality or sanity
- Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, performance metrics, and platform behaviour
- Strong at storytelling + structure — creative, but never chaotic
- A natural planner, clear communicator, and confident leader
