ABOUT THE ROLE


Reporting to the Director, you will drive the strategic engagement for Platforms and digital clients in India; finding and maintaining client relationships, growing business revenue and delivering against sales goals.

Drive strategic engagement within the Platforms & Digital Media Sales Group (MSG) within Audience Measurement Commercial, 

Building go-to-market strategies and client-specific account plans to expand our business with existing clients.

Working as part of our Asia Platforms & Digital Team, use sharing best practices across other markets, and driving cross-country engagements and contracts for international customers. 

Your personal objectives and those of the whole team are Revenue Growth and increased client penetration within Platforms & Digital


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Engagement:
  • Engage with client to understand product relevance, risks and competition entrenchment and come up with plans for business retention, renewals and competition at bay
  • Understand business needs and potential for upsell and cross sell opportunities including product relevance to broader team
  • Develop relationship/ reach access within the client not limited to core team but stakeholders as well including marketing and CXO level

  • New Business Development:
  • Responsible for bringing in new business opportunities and prospective clients in the Platforms and digital space.
  • Undertake sales activities independently, tracking opportunities and pipelines daily and reporting progress weekly.
  • Initiate ideas and thoughtful insights into new initiatives for clients, showing competency, mastery and consultative influential skills.
  • Develop and maintain open-channel communication with top-level clients to create and foster business opportunities.
  • Build clear account plans, outlining growth strategies and key contacts.
  • Lead and promote strategic conversations and meetings with clients with the aim of resulting in traceable business opportunities. 
  • Further, foster strategic client relationships with the aim of providing impactful solutions to clients’ business issues.
  • Keep abreast with the latest developments in ad tech, market research and media, to propose refinements to current processes and approaches.
  • Drive annual contract renewals and develop new business opportunities to further grow the business.

  • Financial Management:
  • Accountable for the financial KPIs (revenue and margin commitment) with quality, speed of delivery and productivity targets as assigned
  • Contribute to the overall team plan by generating revenue and/or cost-saving ideas
  • Drives and grows Nielsen business in revenue and margin (for repeat clients).

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 5+ years of prior working experience in the Platforms and digital or Media Agency space.
  • Proven track record of managing the sales pipeline, delivering business growth and hitting revenue targetsExperience in using the Digital products e.g. CMV, TAM, Ad Intel, DAR, and TAR (Nielsen audience measurement) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Local language, including presenting to C-Suite clients.
  • Intellectually curious, critical thinker and impact-driven.
  • Can-do attitude, with a reputation for providing clarity and creating positive energy.
  • Highly collaborative, open to ideas and can build strong relationships with external clients and internal business partners.
  • Well-organized with the ability to plan and prioritize; Meticulous with strong attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset to work well with other
