A1 is building a proactive AI chat app for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows. Unlike traditional chat-based applications, our product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. The system must handle multi-step reasoning, interact with external tools, and remain reliable despite non-deterministic model behavior.
As Senior Technical Sourcer, you will focus on identifying and engaging high-quality engineering and AI talent globally. You will play a key role in building the company’s early technical teams by developing strong pipelines across software engineering, machine learning, and product engineering functions.
This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong sourcing instincts, attention to quality, and persistence.
What You'll Be DoingSource and engage high-quality technical talent across global markets
Build pipelines across software engineering, machine learning, infrastructure, and product engineering functions
Conduct market mapping and talent research across companies, research labs, and universities
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support hiring priorities
Maintain high sourcing quality and pipeline organization
Track talent market trends, competitor movements, and emerging talent pools
Continuously improve sourcing strategies, messaging, and outreach effectiveness
Proven experience sourcing technical or engineering talent
Strong research and talent identification ability
Familiarity with software engineering and AI/ML talent landscapes preferred
Strong written communication and candidate engagement skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with high hiring volume
Persistent, resourceful, and execution-oriented mindset
