The Role and Responsibilities

You will be tasked with assisting the Group Tax Director with the preparation of all corporate income tax compliance and tax reporting obligations globally, including: 

  • Provide assistance in the controlling of EnerMech’s global tax compliance monitoring system in collaboration with third party service providers.
  • Direct accountability for preparing the tax provisions both for year end and statutory accounts purposes,
  • Assistance in the group consolidation, across all group entities and resolving any inconsistencies.
  • Assisting the tax team globally on other ad hoc projects,  and duties. In particular accountable for ensuring that the group head office transfer pricing policies are correctly implemented.
  • Accountable for first review of certain global tax returns and computations including all associated schedules and working papers, in line with EnerMech’s Global tax compliance process.

You will be responsible for:

  •  Assist Tax Director across taxes globally from a compliance perspective,
  • Responsible for the preparation of the first draft of all group reporting work papers. 
  • Collaborating with group and local finance teams to resolve any inconsistencies in order to get comfortable with the local tax positions for filing and reporting purposes
  • Review head office managements fees, service charges and profit split to ensure in line with group policies.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of HMRC online portal account and other online tax authority’s portal accounts.  
  • Support with global tax administration. 
  • Assisting the global tax director and the international tax manager on an ad hoc basis where required. 
  • Coordination and preparation of group tax monthly report.    

You are?

Essential

  • Accounting degree quailed
  • Holding a recognised professional tax and / or accountancy qualification
  • Experience working with integrated ERP business management systems
  • Previous experience in a finance team in a medium sized organisation

Preferred

  • Senior tax experience within international organisations.
  • Being a self starter, with experience working in a small team 
  • 7 years plus PQE
