Senior SAP MM Consultant

SAP S4 HANA - MM – JD 

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior SAP S4 HANA - Material Management (MM) Consultant  

Candidate will play a crucial role in the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP MM modules to meet the organization's business requirements. As a Senior SAP MM + EWM Consultant, be responsible for providing expert guidance, leading projects, and ensuring the effective utilization of SAP MM functionalities. He should have Primary MM experience additional EWM will be added advantage. 

Should have hands on experience in S4 HANA MM Module & EWM. 

Should have done End to End Configuration and have knowledge of customization development and Integration with third party applications. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Should be Strong in Configuration in MM – Should be expert in below areas -        
  • Material Master Data: Configure material types, views, and attributes in the material master. Define material groups and valuation classes.
  • Purchasing Document Configuration:
    • Customize document types for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.
    • Configure item categories, release strategies, and approval workflows.
  • Source Determination:
    • Configure source determination strategies for automatic determination of sources of supply.
    • Define source lists and quota arrangements.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Configure storage location, movement types, and document types for goods movements.
    • Set up special stock indicators, batch management, and split valuation.
  • Goods Receipt and Goods Issue:
    • Customize settings for goods receipt and goods issue processes.
    • Configure automatic account determination for inventory postings.
  • Valuation and Account Determination:
    • Define valuation classes, account categories, and account grouping.
    • Set up account determination for different types of transactions.
  • Invoice Verification:
    • Configure tolerance limits for invoice verification.
    • Define vendor-specific tolerances and tolerance key settings.
  • Integration with Other Modules:
    • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules, such as SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Production Planning (PP).
  • Configure interfaces and data exchange processes.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
  • Customize reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on organizational requirements.
  •  Workflow and Approval Management:
  • Configure workflow scenarios for approval processes related to procurement.
  • Define release codes and release procedures for purchase documents.
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI):
  • Configure settings for Electronic Data Interchange to facilitate electronic communication with suppliers.
  • Security and Authorization:
    • Define roles and authorization profiles for SAP MM users.
    • Set up security measures to control access to sensitive data.

Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes related to materials management.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices using SAP MM capabilities.

Provide training to end-users and support teams on SAP MM functionalities.

Offer expert assistance to resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize system performance.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.

Proven experience as a Senior SAP MM Consultant with in-depth knowledge of SAP MM modules.

Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Must - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

SAP MM certification is a plus.
