Come join our growing Group Finance team in our Mumbai office! This role will support the YouGov Group in delivering accurate and timely monthly financials, strengthening balance sheet controls, and driving consistency across R2R processes globally.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own and manage end-to-end R2R activities including GL, reconciliations, intercompany, and lease accounting (IFRS 16)
- Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., bank, accruals, prepayments, lease-related balances) with strong supporting documentation
- Lead period-end close activities including journals (accruals, provisions, FX, lease accounting entries, etc.) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Analyse financial data, identify gaps, and drive process improvements and standardization
- Collaborate with Global and Regional Finance teams to streamline and strengthen R2R processes
- Support and lead process improvement initiatives and finance projects
- Review work performed by team members and provided guidance where required
- Work on projects as required by management.
- Work with Global Finance & Group teams to standardize R2R activities.
- Strong Analytical skills to understand process issues and provide solution basis on process requirements.
- Develop sound professional working relationships within shared services and with Global Regional Teams.
Qualifications
Technical skills and qualifications
• Certified Accountant
• Experience on Oracle, NetSuite, SAP etc.
• 5-7 years of experience.
