Job Title :- Senior Platform Engineer

Business & Team :-
The Fraud Technology team is part of the Group Operations Technology and is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the Group’s Fraud technology platform.
Our platform's purpose is to support our Group’s business, Group Fraud Management Services, and their value proposition of providing world-class fraud prevention and detection to safeguard CBA and wider community.
We aim to achieve our purpose through continually delivering cutting edge technology to enable detection, response and prevention of fraud to be a safer and better bank for the community.
Impact & contribution:-
Engage with BU builder and operational teams to triage priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems, and ensure permanent closure of incidents, including actioning of root causes and contributing factors.
Identify and contribute code-level changes, which drive down the operational toil and reduce the technical debt associated with the services that a team is accountable for.
Roles & Responsibilities:-
- You will design, build and run highly available and fully monitored systems
- You will build systems that are designed to break gracefully without customer impact
- You will resourcefully find solutions to problems that have not occurred yet
- You will lead technical calls You will not just read the manual,
- You will write it You are an expert troubleshoots,
- You can find answers solutions that are not on google You can write code in multiple languages
- You can read packet captures and install software and tools that you have not yet experienced in You are curious, a fast learner and value sharing of knowledge and understand the importance of sharing information You will mentor other team members
Essential Skills:
- Absolutely hands-on programming experience of 8+ years in Ab Initio.
- Software Development and Deployment: Experience in developing and deploying high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.
- Programming/Software Development: Experience in designing and building programs or application features meeting business objectives and requirements.
- Experience with estimating development effort for new features
- Industry knowledge of Banking.
- Good experience in Ab-initio related products, shell scripting
- Ab initio background with both Batch and continuous flows is highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of Linux environments; strong knowledge of shell scripting and file systems
- Experience with data aggregation, standardization, linking, quality check mechanisms, and reporting
- Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and using SQL or other data integration/ETL tools.
- Experience with source control systems (GitHub) and with CI/CD tool
Education Qualification:
Bachelor r’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
