As a Senior HR Associate, you will support the Senior HR Business Partner in recruitment, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and reporting, ensuring effective HR service delivery.
Key Areas of ResponsibilityAs the Senior HR Associate, you will work closely with and provide direct operational and administrative support to the Senior HR Business Partner, ensuring seamless delivery of HR services aligned with business needs. This role will act as the backbone for HR Business Partner activities by handling back-end administration, coordination, and reporting, enabling the Senior HR Business Partner to focus on strategic HR initiatives.
- Recruitment Coordination & Administration – Assist the Senior HR Business Partner in managing end-to-end interview scheduling, liaising with hiring managers, coordinating approvals via internal Office Automation (OA) systems, ensuring all Interview Assessment Forms (IAFs) and candidate documentation are complete, and supporting offer rollouts to ensure timely closures.
- Talent Acquisition Support – Under the guidance of the Senior HR Business Partner, track recruitment pipelines, prepare MIS reports on open positions and candidate status, conduct preliminary screening for role and cultural fit, and facilitate seamless onboarding of permanent and temporary staff.
- Employee Life Cycle Management – Support the Senior HR Business Partner in joiner processes (offer letter preparation, joiner checklists), probation reviews, internal movements, functional title changes, exit processes, and maintaining accurate Workday employee records.
- Global & Local Reference Checks – Coordinate and manage reference check processes for multiple countries, maintain trackers, publish fortnightly reports, and conduct background verification for permanent hires in India as guided by the Senior HR Business Partner.
- Data & Reporting – Assist the Senior HR Business Partner in producing and publishing regular MIS reports (headcount, leave data, attrition, movements, background verification status, recruitment metrics) to support HR decision-making.
- Compliance & Policy Governance – Support the Senior HR Business Partner in ensuring adherence to statutory employment laws (e.g., Maternity Benefit Act), oversee governance for processes such as shift allowance, preventive health checkups, and assist with internal/external payroll audits.
- HR Operations Partnering – Collaborate with Payroll & Benefits teams on daily HR administration tasks, manage employee files and documentation, and coordinate employee services such as crèche facility renewals, under the supervision of the Senior HR Business Partner.
- Stakeholder & Global HR Collaboration – Work alongside the Senior HR Business Partner to liaise with hiring managers, global HR teams (HRIS, HR Servicing) and local stakeholders to maintain consistent HR service delivery and alignment with business requirements.
- Full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in HR Business Partnering or HR Generalist roles.
- Proven experience in supporting Senior HR Business Partners or HR leaders in delivering operational and strategic HR initiatives.
- Working experience and proficiency in Workday HRIS for reporting, data maintenance, and process execution.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and reliable mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office suites (advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts, mail merge, and presentation skills).
