As we move towards exponential growth, we are looking for a passionate Senior Front End Developer with a passion for clean, efficient designs to work with our UI team. Being detail oriented should matter a great deal to you.
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to work in front-end development but will be comfortable diving into any part of the technology stack. You will be working with non-technical and technical resources in a highly collaborative and global environment. As you gather requirements and transform them into designs, you will be using technical influential ability to drive product development.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of product front-end using CSS, JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, Ajax/Web Services, and other UI development tools.
- Work with agile software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents when and as required. Perform coding, debugging and testing.
- Participate in design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage, and functional walkthroughs.
- 8+ years of UI/JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 hands-on experience. Preferably experienced with at least on JS frameworks like Dojo, React, AngularJS, etc.
- Experienced with common MVC programming frameworks, and working knowledge with at least 1 App Server (JBoss, Tomcat, etc)
- 1+ years hands-on experience with Web services such as SOAP, REST and XML-RPC
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Ability to clearly communicate with the technology team and to non-technical members of the larger organization
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Critical thinking skills and a high attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and a demonstrated ability to produce innovative technical solutions to complex challenges
